Sasha, a purebred Rottweiler girl, was found at a business near a very busy highway, extremely thin, dehydrated and covered with huge ticks. She was so hungry but is such a sweet and polite girl that she took bites from a sandwich being fed to her by a kind stranger and sat still waiting patiently for each bite. She was rescued and after eating well, she was found to be pretty healthy. Sasha is good with other dogs, but not small ones or puppies, she isn't good with cats either. She is very affectionate, walks very well on a leash, loves to ride in the car, is great with the 8 year old granddaughter at her foster home. She does jump some, so she might not do well with very small children, we are working on that. Sasha seems to be protective of whoever she is beside, concerning other dogs. She doesn't like other dogs to approach whoever she is with, she isn't aggressive, but she does bark and will put herself in between you and the other dog. Sasha is a big and beautiful dog that needs a new home. She is house trained and very intelligent, about 2 years old, and weighs about 100 lbs. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT [email removed]
