My story
One look at Willie Nelson and we know he will be, to paraphrase a song by his namesake, always on your mind. Willie is 17 months old and weighs 34 pounds. He is a bit shy at first, but is gaining confidence every day with the care and attention from our dedicated staff and volunteers who dote on him. He is so sweet and affectionate and loves to be petted. When we are in the fenced yard, Willie will jump up on the bench to sit next to us to relax and enjoy our company! Willie is so good on a leash and loves being in the fenced play area. He has a beautiful coat and an endearing way of holding up one ear. Willie will also reward you with a precious doggy grin. He is going to be such a fun and devoted part of the family lucky enough to take him home!
